Hall Thorpe ‘Nasturtiums’ Wood cut

A lovely wood cut ‘Nasturtiums’ by John Hall Thorpe, in excellent condition no fading, foxing and with good registration.

It is signed by the artist in pencil in the bottom right hand corner and named Nasturtiums in the other corner.

This one also has ‘Published by Hall Thorpe London Copyright USA 1922 printed subtly along the bottom.

I have also listed another Hall Thorpe ‘Marigolds’ in the same mount and frame so that they could be hung together.

John hall Thorpe was born in Australia and studied at Goldsmith College of Art London, his series of quintessentially English Flower studies where produced in the 1920’s and where very popular.
