A fine example of a Celtic brass tray from the small work shop that once thrived on the beautiful Island of Iona of the west coat of Scotland.
This piece is not marked, but it is clearly illustrated in the book ‘Iona Celtic Art’.
This very large brass tray is not signed but most brass pieces where rarely marked . It features a Griffin surrounded by Celtic knot designs.
