Peter Waals Combination Wardrobe

Made to the design of Peter Waals solid oak a very practical and useful piece of furniture.

Consisting of a full length hanging space, a flight of four drawers with shelf’s above.
These where made by apprentice cabinet makers at the Loughborough Art college for there dormitories with exposed dovetails and wedged tenon details showing on the side panels, you can see the quality of the build.

Peter Waals studied under Ernest Gimson eventually owning his own workshop and later becoming a consultant at Loughborough College shortly before his death in 1937.
