Mouseman style side tables

A beautiful pair of Mouseman style side tables, with the distinctive Adzed surface to the table tops.
This skilled finish is expertly done, by skilled furniture makers cutting back the top surface with a cabinetmakers tool called an Adze, which produces a gently undulating surface. that is both beautiful and tactile. The octagonal shaped tops are finished with a wax polish and are a very warm golden oak colour.
Made from solid English Oak, they are made in the traditional manner that the ‘Mouseman’ workshop always used with no nails or screws, using the old pegged and cleated method of construction.
The tables do not have any makers marks. but are definitely the quality of ‘Mouseman’ or any of the other craftsman who followed him, either as direct apprentice’s setting up their own workshops the most famous being ‘Rabbitman’
