Nice piece of grotesque pottery from the C.H.Brannam works.
Incised mark dated 1897
Brannam pottery is made from a very soft body clay and as is typical, it dose have a few nibbles, more to the thick glaze than the body.
It also unfortunately has at one time had the very bottom curl of its Dragons tail off, it has been repaired and is not obvious due to its hidden position.
