A large twisted handle art vase made by W. L. Barron Barnstaple pottery, hand signed into the clay.
Beautifully mottled glaze of purple hues, in the manner of Ruskins glazes. It is a very large impressive Art vase in very good order apart from a firing crack across one of the three handles , see photo.
W.L Baron started off working for Charles Brannam Potteries but then set up a rival company in 1893.
