A popular copy of William Nicholson’s An Almanac of twelve sports, each one accompanied by a verse from Rudyard Kipling.
Published by William Heinemann London a first edition copy from November 1898.
It contains a different sport and verse for each day of the month.
All the colour plates are in vey good condition, no foxing or browning.
Some slight offsetting from plate to text, but images are strong and could be framed separately.
Original paper covered boards, corners bumped and inner hinge slightly split.
Provenance, is rubber stamped with Dominican Fathers Edinburgh and was I suspect part of the Library there.
Overall a good clean copy
