This very practical Settee-Bed was manufactured by Parker-knoll with a patented design, cloth covered spring system. The frame is solid Oak.
It was certainly retailed through Heals and is illustrated in their 1933 catalogue, design no. 5362, during the interwar period.
The sofa Bed is so well made that it has survived from the 1930s, the springs are original only the cushions have been replaced with fire retardant slabs to the seat and fibre filled to back and arms. covered in calico for you to choose your own fabric.
