Attractive pair of bookends by Alexander Kelety who modelled many animals, in a very lifelike style.
His signature is on on both dogs
He was born in Budapest but studied at Toulouse France between the first and second world wars.
There are some nibble to the bases, which can be seen on the images, please ask if you require more detailed ones.
They are very heavy obviously to be affective bookend, but could be posted , please enquirer for a quote with appropriate insurance.
