A School Print by Phyllis Ginger ‘Town Centre’ it has been suggested that the town depicted is probably Bristol.
The project to bring contemporary art to junior school children was devised Brenda an Derek Rawnlsey after the second world war.
Phyllis ginger studied art at Kingston Art school from 1923 to 25 and then went on to the Central School of Arts and Craft, contributing nineteen water colours to ‘Recording Britain’
