Working in London in the 1920’s Yoshijiro Urushibara produced some of the finest wood cut prints ever made his mastery of this exacting craft was astonishing, as the quotes that have been saved and attached to the back of this woodcut print proof.

The Crayfish or also known as the Lobster was produced in limited addition this one is numbered 40 out of an addition of 100 and signed by the artist.

It is in fine condition, no foxing and nicely framed with the notes attached to the back which have thoughtfully been saved from an earlier mounting.
