Gimson chairs by Neville Neal

This set of six Ash dining chairs  where made by the very skilled furniture maker Neville Neal in Stockton England around the 1950’s. each chair is stamped with his name.

The work shop is still producing fine rush seated chairs headed by Lawrence Neal the son.

The chairs where original designed by Ernest Gimson in the late 1800’s and are a beautiful example of the Arts and Craft movement, being both practical and beautifully designed.

They are in perfect condition only the rush seats have been redone to a good standard.
